UNIVERSITIES ABROAD: COMMON TRAILS IN EUROPE
If you plan to go to study in France, Spain, Germany or any other country of the European Union and you have Italian nationality or another member state, you have the right to attend the university located abroad under the same conditions as local students . This means that:
universities can not require you to pay higher taxes than those required for students who are citizens of the state where you go to study;
you are entitled to the same scholarships provided for the citizens of the host country in order to cover tuition fees.
Also, bear in mind that although the university systems are different from country to country, the Bologna European Union plan provides that all European universities must provide for the acquisition of 180-240 credits to be considered institutions suitable for issuing academic qualifications.
